GET IN THE MOOD

Album: Get in the Mood
Released in November of 2021, ‘Get in the Mood’ is the new holiday album featuring 12 reinvented classics and one addictively fun original song (the eponymous Get in the Mood). The production work on this record spanned the better part of a year, and was a national and international affair—tracks were cut as nearby as The Mantle in Washington, DC to as distant as the recording of a full orchestra in Budapest, Hungary. Working with a huge cast of characters from studio musicians to string arrangers to mix partners and mastering, this was a favorite—and massive—project of ours. We’re looking forward to hearing this one on all the platforms each winter for years to come as everyone gets in the mood for the holidays!
SEAS THROUGH ME

This song came to us as a chord progression, a poem, and a feeling that the artist wanted to convey. Through a series of rehearsals, writing sessions and demos, we crafted the song into a rocking, disjointed arrangement to accentuate the feelings of discomfort and tension captured in the lyric of the tune.
MANDY UNDERWOOD
Artist: Mandy Underwood
Album: I Know a Girl
Mandy’s music needed bass, acoustic guitars, electric guitars, and mandolin. Can do! We dug in on the original sparse arrangement of this tune and created a lonesome, etherial atmosphere for Mandy’s gentle & heartfelt lyric.
MESSAGE IN A BOTTLE
Inspired to bring some of our favorite local musicians “together” during the first wave of isolation during the Covid pandemic, we cooked up a new arrangement of this all-time classic Police tune, producing all of the tracking sessions virtually over Zoom & FaceTime sessions. We also had a great time producing the video for this one, taking a stylized approach to clips shot at home by each of the musicians during their tracking sessions.
